Playing back a DVD-RW / DVD-R
1) Press [I/y ON/STANDBY] to turn on the unit.
Basic playback
DVD VIDEO RECORDER
Turn on the TV and be sure to select the input to which the unit is connected.
2) Press [OPEN/CLOSE A] to open the disc tray. 3) Place the disc on the disc tray with its label facing up. Be sure to align the disc with the disc tray guide.

Connect the unit to a TV after considering the capabilities of your existing equipment. Before installation, unplug your TV and this unit. Disc tray guide
4) Press [OPEN/CLOSE A] to close the disc tray. This operation may take awhile to be completed. 5) Press [TOP MENU] to display the Title menu.
You can switch between the �Original� and �Playlist� in the VR mode using [MENU / LIST]. <e.g. VR mode>

� If your TV does not have a Scart socket, use a commercially available Scart adaptor or Scart / RCA cable to connect.
Press [TOP MENU] to resume play. To exit the Title menu, press [STOP C] or [RETURN].
